For my conclusion, I wanna use the scene in which an owner from another Dollhouse corporation sends an active doll, in which he has imprinted himself. This is the newest technology that the Dollhouse will be using as he introduces it to Adelle. Also in this scene Adelle seems to not think this is a good idea to actually start using the Dolls for their bodies. This is where we see Adelle becoming to slowly worry about the future of the Dollhouse corporations. Some advice in this scene that I could use to add into the Analysis part of the conclusion is that, when we as people start to recognize that some discovered technologies are becoming too out of control or difficult to handle, it should be time to slow down or cut somethings out. To compare this to my real world connection, I can't tell the future of what is to happen to this newly found form into stem cell research, but I can say that if Stem Cell research was to go back into an issue of controversy, then like in the show, it would be time to either cut some things out or slow down. This is because it could turn into something that we may lose control of, which would be bad because the success of using Stem Cells for various reasons can be a great discovery/invention for mankind.
This is great and interesting conclusion. It makes me want to keep reading and get to your real world situation.

ReplyDeleteI think this scene is good because it shows when the technology crosses the line of going too far for Adelle. It is a lot like stem cell research, because it is good but a certain point it crosses the line.
