Blog 26: Eos III

Step One:

The writers of Dollhouse use Topher's overconfidence in the imprinting method to argue that the advancement in technology and research are being overlookd with the possibilities of huge consequences and dangers. This argument is applicable to the real world.  A prime example is Stem Cell Research.

3a. Analysis: Show how Topher's attitude to making the imprinting method advanced is overly confident and blinds him of how much power it actually holds.
4a. 2nd Scene
5a. Analysis: Show how once Topher realized he lost control of the "tech", the world was put into danger

14a. Analysis: Show how even the head of one of the Dollhouses becomes weary and not too keen of new technology that is being introduced.  (A bad vibe that this may be going somewhere bad)
15a. Conclusion: Reintroduce argument and connect with real world situation

Step Two:
1b.Introduction to Dollhouse and what it is about
2b. 1st Scene
3b. Analysis: Shows how Topher is overconfident in his abilities to improve the imprinting method
4a.2nd Scene
5b. Analysis: Shows how Topher has gone crazy and knows what he must do to save the world
6b.Implications: Includes argument along with connection to real world situation
7b.Introduced real world connection and pros and cons of the situation
8b. 1st source: Explained what source was about and more background information
9b.More explanation and comprehension of 1st source
10b.2nd source: Explained new technology and its abilities
11b.Conclusion of SSI: Tells about why Stem Cell research is seen as ethical or unethical and why it cannot be seen as unethical anymore
12b.Transition back to show by using a scenario
13b. 3rd scene
14b.Analysis: Shows how Adelle is becoming weary about the new "tech" and how new ideas can be positive or negative
15.b Conclusion: Show that when new ideas are introduced to the world that either people will be against or for the topic and how Stem Cell research was like this. And explained that with new discoveries or ideals produces new outcomes as well.

Step Three:
1B. both outlines seemed to match up pretty well. Maybe a more sense of what the paper will be about without directly stating the argument and add a thesis.
2B. 1st scene paragraph (tell specifically what happens)
3B. Try not to summarize the scene again, but to tell what the scene is trying to say.
4B. 2nd scene paragraph (tell specifically what happens)
5B. Again DON'T SUMMARIZE and try to write what I believe the scene is saying
6B.My implications was okay, the re telling of scenes is not necessary though
7B. In my actual paper I added a little and listed some pros and cons about the real world connection
8B. 1st source was pretty good
9B. Just added more information about the 1st source
10B. 2nd source: Just summarized the article and gave some facts.
11B. Can add some of the reasoning of 11a to 11b
12B. Transition back to show with an example was okay
13B. 3rd scene paragraph (tell specifically what happens)
14B. combine some of 14a and 14b
15B. Conclusion: Along with 15b, I reconnect with the argument and real world connection.
