Blog 30: EoS Chapter 17

1a) In a scene during the episode “Epitaph One”, we are introduced to Topher Brink.  Topher is being introduced to the imprinting chair.  As he talks to the head of this particular Los Angeles Dollhouse, Adelle, Topher is not really amazed with the speed of the imprinting chair.  In this scene, Topher has a cocky and quirky attitude as he talks to the head of security and they sarcastically argue back and forth.  The head of security is trying to tell Adelle that Topher is not ready to work on this project, yet Adelle does not heed his warning. 
 

1b) Introduced in both sentences are in the past tense and should be changed to introduces, which means I will have to slightly change the words around introduced to make sense.  Trying is also in the past tense and should be changed to the present tense to tries.

2a) Later in the series, there was a sequel made called “Epitaph Two: The Return”.  In this episode, the show has been forwarded far into the future.  The ‘tech’, or technology, has taken over the minds of many and changed them almost into zombies.  They are programmed to kill those who are not affected, called actuals.  A group of five people are searching to find a safe place to get away from the infected people.  They end up finding the original Dollhouse in Los Angeles that Adelle had controlled.  Memories of Topher are imprinted into the infected mind of a father, as his daughter is also brought along with the group.  In these memories, Topher is still in the underground Dollhouse, but has gone crazy.  The group is oblivious as the little girl is one-by-one killing part of the group off and playing innocent when someone is killed.  Meanwhile, Topher has been trying to solve some problems and he scribbles words and numbers in the area that he sleeps in.  In one instance, he tells Adelle, “…I’ll fix what we did to their heads.  You fix what we did to the rest of the world…” (Epitaph Two) and this is the point at which Topher realizes that he has to sacrifice something in order to set off the new “tech” that will return everyone’s mind’s to their original identity.

2b) All 4 words and 4 verb phrases are in the past tense and should be changed to the present tense.  The sentences will also, like above, will have to slightly have to be changed to fit the flow.
