Argument: The
writers of Dollhouse are trying to argue that our world today is so controlled
by technology and used as a necessity, that it could end up controlling us as
humans or controlling our fate. Technology
can be used for good and bad.
Potential Scenes: The
introduction to the chair that imprints the minds of the dolls, the guy
shooting the radio because it had a signal, Topher at the end of Return using
the machine to change everyone’s minds and return them to their true identity.
I agree. Tech can be a thread to human.
ReplyDeleteI think a real world application can be Facebook. We can use it for good - connect with friends, or bad - make negative comments. We're controlling it because we are the ones using it, but it also controls our mood and it feels like almost an attachment, if that makes sense.
