Blog 16: Summary of 2nd Source

My Second Source: Prevention Prosecution Protection

Ruth Dearnley and Steve Chalke express the raw truth about human trafficking and how everyone across the globe is affected in some way. Bringing the ideas close to home by asking questions about how much you would pay for your coat or even for your child. They include alarming statistics about roughly how many people are subject to human trafficking or forced slave labor. Every number that represents on person being trafficked is a human life destroyed. Ruth and Steve also tell that they are not sure that human trafficking can be policed due to the limited information on the sheer numbers of people involved or their locations.

The authors of this article are horrified by the atrocities of human trafficking and how easily it destroys live and families. It needs to be stopped but a starting point is hard to find.
